Doncaster Rovers v Stoke City

Saturday 09/01/2016

3rd Round

1-2

Happy New Year all! Hope you have a good one.

The return to the Keepmoat to see Donny take on Stoke was a solo affair. No takers this time for company which I suppose is expected this time of year. Anyway that was not going to deter from a great day out.

The atmosphere was fantastic with both sets of fans turning up in huge numbers. The DRFC stand display was a nice touch too in order to make the occasion special.

Moving onto the game, personally this should have draw and I know Donny fans will be disappointed with the result. This was just one of those occasions where the FA cup had run out of some of the magic for the lower ranked team. The game was still a decent spectacle though and I thoroughly enjoyed the game.

Thank you all Doncaster fans for the journey. Good luck for the rest of the season! Ferguson has certainly turned things round for you.

Stoke City, you are my new team. I’ve just seen the draw which means we are going to Palace! Let’s have it!

Cambridge United v Doncaster Rovers

06/12/2015 Sunday 2pm

1-3

After a heavy night out in Cambridge with my good friend Marc the night before, we embarked upon the Abbey stadium with bleary eyes but full of spirit!

The game itself was a strange one as some could argue Cambridge were the slightly better team on the day but ended up losing 3-1.

So it’s Doncaster who progress through to the big draw with Prem and Championship teams entering the draw.

The draw reveals its back to the Keepmoat to take on Stoke!
